  I recently had a great experience buying an engagement ring with Robbins. My fiance wanted to be surprised, so I couldn't ask her about her ring preferences, but the staff at Robbins helped me find a perfect ring anyway. It helped to be able to browse their prototype rings--you can just walk right behind the counter and try them on!--which is something you won't get at Zales or Jared. The big jewelry stores try to steer you to buy as many rocks as possible, but Robbins will actually listen to you if you say you're interested in a solitaire. The staff were super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. When we needed to rush the resizing of the ring since my fiance was leaving the country, they didn't complain about it one bit. I really do recommend them for getting an engagement ring--and avoiding paying sales tax doesn't hurt!

  I lost my wedding set so I went to Robbins. I had just gotten a ring and it had no emotional value to me. I called the store and Gordon was on the phone immediately with me. He was very kind and sympathetic on the phone and in person. Now, I have never been helped by someone so a patient, so kind and understanding. I broke down because My Ring was gone and I was unhappy with my purchase. Linda understood I wanted nothing that looked like my wedding set my husband designed, it hurt too much. I couldn't replace it with the same because we didn't update our appraisal and it was marked as the original amount when it should have been a few thousand more. I've ALWAYS hated round stones but all I told Linda was no marquee diamond ( my original). I love sapphires and wanted them. Linda showed me a halo ring with a round sapphire center. It was more than I could ever want. I felt the emotions I once had, about my ring. Now, I couldn't be happier!
